Base fee:
  • This ticket gets you into the NYESTA Banquet only on Tuesday evening at Museum of the Earth from 6-9pm
  • For NYESTA members in good standing.
  • Includes a 1 year membership to NYESTA.
  • Be sure to choose a lunch for Tuesday only in the registration form. Does not include banquet at PRI on Tuesday evening. If interested, please purchase ticket separately.
  • Be sure to choose a lunch for Wednesday only in the registration form.

Here is the revised schedule of events! 

Monday August 7th

2:00 PM - 4:00 PM - Registration - Museum of the Earth 1259 Trumansburg

4:00 PM -? PM - Optional hike at Buttermilk State (10 min) Park followed by

dinner at Ithaca Brewing Company

8:30 PM - Weather Permitting - Astronomical Observing - details TBD


Tuesday August 8th

7:00 AM - Breakfast on your own

7:30 AM - Pick up box lunches for field trip

7:45 AM - Meet at vans/carpool

8:00 AM - 5:00 PM - All Day Field Trip

Ithaca is Gorges (and Devonian!). We will hike the gorges of Taughannock (10 mindrive) and Upper Treman (½ hour drive) and view the Devonian history of Upstate New York through the story in the rocks. Box lunches provided during the field trip.

6:00 PM - 9:00 PM - Annual Awards Dinner and Banquet under the whale, Museum of the Earth katz@priweb.org            https://www.museumoftheearth.org/nyrocks

Pricing

Full conference price is: 

$125.00 for members in good standing

$145.00 for non members (includes membership for 1 year)

Includes both days of the conference, admission into the museum,

lunches for both days, banquet and cotton T-shirt (additional cost for sport tech fabric)

*No refunds so please make every effort to attend.
