NYESTA Elections   (August 15th, 2025)

  Are you interested in a position on the NYESTA board? Do you know of someone to nominate or recommend? 

  We are seeking motivated Earth Science teachers to collaborate on curriculum, collaborate during monthly meetings, and plan our summer field conference each year. 

  The following positions are two-year terms: President, Past-President, Vice-President, Treasurer, and Secretary. 

  Appointed positions are Webmaster, Conference Chairman, Newsletter Editor, and Membership Chairperson, and these positions have no term limit. 

The following board positions are available. If a name is next to a position, that person is running for it. Feel free to nominate yourself for a position.

Vice-President:

Treasurer: Renee Aubrey

Secretary: Sarah Mayfield

  The current position of Vice-President is held by Nadezda Mease and she will be the NYESTA President from August 2025 to August 2027.  The current president, Sean Ellison, will be the Past-President from August 2025 to August 2027.

  We are looking for people interested in the appointed positions as well. If you have an interest in the newsletter, being a webmaster, a conference chairperson, or being the membership chairperson, please respond to the email.
