Tuesday August 6th
4:00-5:00 check in/registration at Clarkson Inn Lobby
5:00 – 6:00 informal Raquette river-walk and discussion with Geomorphologist Dr. Adam Pearson (Chair of the SUNY Potsdam Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences). The group will depart from the Clarkson Inn Lobby.
6:00 dinner on own, but Maxfield’s would be a great place to informally gather and socialize.
Wednesday August 7th
8:30 am vans will pick everyone up in front of Clarkson Inn Lobby.
We will be doing a Proterozoic to early Paleozoic loop from 8:30 – 4:00 pm. Pack lunches will be provided. Most stops are along the side of the road. Stop 6 will be at the end of a short hiking trail. We will provide GPS points for all field locations in the field guide. Trip led by Dr. Michael Rygel (Sedimentologist) and Dr. Page Quinton (Paleontologist and Geochemist)

Stop 2: Theresa Formation
Stop 3: The Great Unconformity
Stop 4: Potsdam Sandstone
Stop 5: DeKalb Anticline
Stop 6: The Snake
4:00 – 6:00 pm drop and free time at hotel
6:00 – 9:00 pm Annual Awards Dinner and Banquet at Fireside Lounge at SUNY Potsdam
Thursday August 8th
8:00 am vans will pick everyone up in front of Clarkson Inn Lobby.
We will be doing a mineral collecting field trip to Powers Farm (tourmaline). We will get everyone back to the hotel by 1:00 pm. Trip led by Dr. Christian Schrader (Mineralogist).

$135.00 for non members (includes membership for 1 year)
